Our Family // Summer 2013

This summer has been like many other summers for the Holt Family.  We spend most of our days relaxing and hanging out together.  We've been to the beach, to the park, to Disneyland and California Adventure parks, hung out by the pool, explored the city, spent quality time with great friends and family & so much more.   

Although the summer isn't quite over, here's a compilation of some of the fun Summer 2013 brought to the family.

Oh Very Young's Mommy Happy Hour Event // Bixby Knolls, California

Chris and I had the opportunity to be part of such a fun event in Bixby Knoll's a couple of weeks back.  If you like us on Facebook, you had probably seen some of the fun we had at Oh Very Young's July Mommy Happy Hour Event.  Shopping, popcorn, drinks, goodies, and face painting.  Definitely fun for the whole family!  We had a wonderful time, Jade and Jarron truly had a blast! 

If you haven't had the chance to check out Oh Very Young's shop, we hope you do soon.  Oh Very Young has such a wonderful, friendly staff & not only offer pre-loved items, but also have handmade goods for your little ones as well.

Fun Family Session on the Sand // Malibu, California

I still remember when we met Chris & Lindsay for the first time at Chad & Mishanna's wedding.  Chris did an amazing job officiating the beautiful couples ceremony.  Upon meeting Chris & Lindsay we knew right away that they were truly an amazing couple.  

Fast forward a few month's after the wedding, we scheduled a family session and met Chris & Lindsay's adorable little boys.  At the time, Nathan was only about to sit & big brother Bubba, was such a shy little guy.   

Needless to say, I was seriously excited when Lindsay scheduled her family session only a few weeks back.  We couldn't believe that it had already been a year since we had seen one another.  Lindsay & Chris chose an absolutely beautiful day for our session together.  We decided to have our session on the peaceful beach of the Annenburg Community Beach House.  

Chris, Lindsay, Bubba & Nathan thank you for such an awesome fun time again together.  I am thankful & blessed to be able to capture some of your family's life's moments & can't wait to see you all again real soon.

Most Adorable Newborn Session // Burbank, California

I still remember when I got the news that Jen was expecting her newest edition to the family.  We were celebrating a birthday of our dear friends son.  Jen said "Hi Gina! and I said Hi, and we hugged, laughed and as I was turning to walk, Jen said to me again "Hi Gina, and this time pointing down"  Needless to say, I jumped for joy and words couldn't express how happy and excited I was for Jen, Herm and soon-to-be big brother Lucas.  

Soon after, the girls and I celebrated the upcoming arrival of baby Larissa at The Terrace in the beautiful Langham in Pasadena where we shared stories about baby's and motherhood over brunch.  Great food and great company!

Fast forward to May 31st. Meeting Larissa for the first time, at only 12 days young, I was blessed to be able to capture a moment in Larissa's lifetime of memories.  Here are a few of our favorite images of our newest princess, Larissa Maria.  

Jen, Herm and Lucas, Congratulations again on your new bundle of love.  We look forward to seeing Larissa grow and are thankful to have you in our lives.  XOXO

Father's Day Collabrewtive Brunch // Downtown LA Art District
