As many of you already know, the Mommy & Me Cancer Foundation MAMCF holds dear to my heart.   Having the opportunity to be part of these beautiful mommy's is truly a gift from above. Photographing so many amazing families allows us to be part of the fight and share in the support and strength to continue to fight.  

We spent some time together at the beautiful Fullerton Arboretum on the grounds of Cal State Fullerton. Meeting Christianne & her beautiful family for the first time, we knew love, strength and fight were eminent.  Their smiles and hugs exchanged said it all.  We invite you to take a moment to enjoy their amazing family.  

Christianne, it was amazing to meet you and your family.  Your strength and love for your family is nothing short of amazing.  We constantly have you in our thoughts and prayers and are with you always in your fight to beat cancer.  We love you!

Los Angeles Family Portraits // Speirs Family

We had the opportunity to spend some time with the beautiful Speirs Family.  I love it when you meet a family for the first time and have so much fun on the session that you become friends and it feels like we have known one another for years.  This was exactly what happened with our session with Travis, Amy and their adorable daughter Harley.  As most sessions begin, Harley was a little shy and surely wasn't sure about the lady calling her name & making faces behind a camera. As we spent a bit more time together, Harley's playful and loving personality shined naturally and we became the best of friends.  

The above photo has got to be one of my most favorites.  We asked the amazing family to take a short stroll together, as Chris and I stayed back a bit to capture their moments together, Harley looked back at me and said "C'mon, let's go!" as she told her mommy that she wanted me to come along.  My heart melts as this image takes me back each time to her beautiful and contagious laughter, as a carefree little princess.

Travis, Amy and Harley, words cannot express how grateful we are to have been able to capture moments with your beautiful family.  We look forward to seeing Harley continue to grow more and more beautifully and hope we can see one another real soon.

Isabella's First Communion // St. Joseph's Catholic Church

Few weeks prior we were here at St. Joseph's Catholic Church to capture Araceli & Jose's wedding. We are truly grateful to have been asked to be part of their family's celebrations.  

We had the privilege of being part in one of the most important times in the her childhood - Isabella's First Communion.  As a Roman Catholic, first communion is a person's first reception of the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.  Although there are so many great images of Isabella, her family and the celebration, these images were chosen to share the special moments captured of Isabella during this time.  

Isabella we are very proud and excited that you have taken this step in your faith and will continue to grow in your relationship with GOD.   

Yamashiro Family - Part II // SURPRISE!

You may remember the Yamashiro Ohana from our previous post, go check them out again here. We couldn't wait to share part two of our session with you.  You see when planning our session together, Jennifer. the family's first grandchild, wanted to surprise her grandparents with their news that her & her hubby Ryan were going to be expecting.   As we discussed a few fun ways, we decided it would happen right at the end of their session during their family group shot.  Jennifer had made the awesome frames signs that the families had held throughout the session, with 2 specially made for their surprise.  Here are some of the moments we captured as they realized what exactly was on the signs.  Soon to be Great Grandparents were definitely surprised, more than excited for their newest addition!It was such a wonderful feeling to be part of their celebration as they shared tears of joy and happiness.  

Milton & Harriet congratulations again on your upgraded status of Great Grandparents! The baby is so blessed to have such a loving family to grow up with. Yamashiro family, we thank you again for allowing us to be part of the ohana, and congratulations to the soon to be grandparents, aunties and cousins!  

Ryan and Jennifer, congratulations again on your newest addition to your family.  We are so excited to be part of this new chapter in your lives and look forward to meeting Baby E in December.  You two will be amazing parents!

Class of 2014 // Diamond Ranch High School // Brandon

We are proud to announce that Brandon has officially graduated from Diamond Ranch High School, congratulations again to all of Class of 2014!  Brandon is such an awesome young man & we look forward to seeing him continue to succeed in what ever he puts his mind to.  Brandon is a lover of God, his family and if you haven't looked below, a lover of soccer.  

Brandon, we are so proud of all you have accomplished and  look forward to celebrating so many more in the future.  Keep your head up and reach for the stars, we know you'll be amazing in all you do!  

Class of 2014 High School Senior Portraits // Rachel

For those of you who don't know Rachel is Chris' sister.  We have had the pleasure of watching her grow into the beautiful young lady that you see here.  We are so proud of her and look forward to celebrating this awesome chapter in her life.  

Rachel is a believer & lover of GOD, her family, coffee, is creative and her laughter is infectious. She's an amazing friend, is thoughtful and a loves life - she's a pretty awesome Auntie too!  You may think these are just kind words one says because she's family, but when you meet her, you will instantly know what we are talking about.

Rachel, we love you and look forward to being there to celebrate every chapter life has in store for you.  We are so proud of your accomplishments and will continue to always be there for you every step of the way!  Congratulations Class of 2014!
